Cincinnati Tennis Club is proud to announce an exciting new program called “Quick Start Tennis” This program has been rolled out with a lot of enthusiasm across the USA and the Greater Cincinnati Tennis Association (GCTA) has introduced this program for the 2008 season
“Quick Start Tennis” is a program that helps children enjoy tennis with much greater success, under the leadership of Steve Levine “Director of Tennis”. As we all know the easier something is to pick up and learn right way, the more fun it is and your child enjoy immediately.
With a combination of a smaller court, nerf balls & pressureless balls your child will love tennis because they will be able to rally the balls with amazing success.

Quick Start Level 1 - PeeWees

Ages 6 and Under

New for 2008 - PeeWees will be using nerf balls for greater success to inspire good hand-eye coordination & a love of tennis. Each PeeWee will receive their own racquet.

Quick Start Level 2

Ages 8 and Under

Level 2 will be using foam or a very low-compression balls that move slower, bounce lower and travels less distance. Theses juniors will see quick success in being able to play. Monday thru Friday 9:00 – 10:30 supervised games and activities

Quick Start Level 3

Ages 10 and Under

A low-compression ball moves a little faster and travels farther than the ball used with the younger group, but it still has a lower bounce than a regulation ball enabling these juniors to control the balls for greater success

Level 4 - Junior High and High School Excellence

Ages 13 –18

This program is designed for those players who have a casual commitment to tennis and would like to improve their game. Competitive fun will be the emphasis with this group.

  • Polishing the strokes
  • Singles and doubles strategy
  • Physical conditioning
  • Fun social event

HIGH PERFORMANCE
10's and 12's High Performance

For the young girls and boys who have a good grasp of the strokes. They know how to play and they desire strong competition and would like to make tennis a big part of their life.

  • Intense stroke production
  • Court positioning and footwork
  • Match play and strategy

A group for competitive players who demonstrate a will to achieve a USTA, city, district, western or National ranking. The student must be approved by Rusty Schubert, Subir Mukerjea or Steve Levine.

We emphasis:

  • Setting and achieving goals
  • Strong but controlled competitive spirit
  • Video analysis
  • Fun social events
